1 of The Best Romantic Comedy Movies of The Year

Music and Lyrics Cast : Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore Director : Marc Lawrence Genre : Romatic Comedy Warner Bros. Pictures

Music and Lyrics tells about two people who fall in love along with the rhythm of song that they write together. Alex Fletcher is used to be one of the members of Pop, a hits-maker boy band back in the 80’s. While Sophie Fisher is an ordinary girl who happens to be a born lyricist and has a traumatic past with her ex-boyfriend. They become know each other when Sophie substitutes her friend Jane watering the plant in Alex’s apartment. It all starts when Sophie is watering the plant while Alex is trying to write a song for Cora, Shakira’s porn version who becomes the new big star-it will help Alex to make a comeback after his 15 years failed solo album, without realizing it, Sophie continues the lyric by humming it. Then, Alex decides to hire Sophie to help him write the song. In the making of the song, they spend a lot of time together and become close then fall in love with each other. Seeing Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore as the leading role actors and Marc Lawrence as the director who on the credit title, it is surely made a high expectation. Eventually, it is. It’s like an easy listening song, you will love it right for the very first time. Freshly funny and enchanting, the chemistry between Grant and Barrymore is great. Also, not to forget all nice soundtracks especially Way Back Into Love, definitely find a way into my heart-I never thought before that Hugh Grant is actually can sing VERY WELL. The conclusion is, it is more than just an average romantic comedy.

Just a Poor Lonely Girl

Marie Antoinette Cast : Kirsten Dunts, Jason Scwartzman, Rip Torn Director : Sofia Coppola Genre : History Drama Sony/Columbia Pictures

Very colorful and fashionable indeed. Dan, yang paling penting itu adalah by watching this movie, you’ll know that behind all the facts that she is a big spender that she was called “The Queen of Debt”, gambler and party animal, she was just a poor lonely teenage girl.

Will Smith New Movie: Tears Dropping!

The Pursuit of Happyness
Cast : Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Thandie Newton
Director: Gabrielle Muccino
Genre : Drama
Produced by: Columbia Pictures

The same with Blood Diamond, this movie is also inspired by a true story. A heart warming story about the life struggling of a man named Chris Gardner (Will Smith), a bone scanner salesman and his son, Christopher (Jaden Smith). Life has been very hard for Chris that his job doesn't make money as much as they need for living. It even harder when since his wife, Linda (Thandie Newton) leaves him because of the economy depression. However, he never gives up and keeps fightin' to pursue what he simply wants, a happiness for him and especially for his only son.
It is a one-man show movie. Playing as a father with his real life son, Jaden was toldly helpful for Smith. He has never been as good as in this novie. I mean ever! This is absofuckinlutely his best performance as an actor. No wonder he had been nominated in a recent academy award for best leading actor. Overall, it is really really must seen movie for a touching drama movie fans. Prepare a box of tissue coz it'll make U cry like a lot.

Recently Watched Movies Review

Blood Diamond
Cast: Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Connely, Djimon Honsou, Arnold Vosloo
Director: Edward Zwick
Genre: Action-adventure/Drama
Produced by: 20th Century Fox

It's been a long time Leo (one of my favorite actors, lookin cute here, with beard n definitely the body, love it! Well, except one thing, the hair chest is a no no!) does'nt play commercial movie after The Departed which have won Oscars for Best Picture this year. Also, Blood Diamond is his first action-adventure movie, hopefully he'll make a lot more.
Inspired by a true event in Sierra Leone, Africa in 1991 when the country was in a civil war, the movie is about illegal sale of diamond, which is done by the rebels to support their financial and it involves an American giant diamond company. To mine the diamond, they force the people who have been separated from their family when the hometown was destroyed. One of them, is Solomon Vandy (Djimon Honsou) who finds the "Pink Diamond", the term for rare-high valued diamond which then confronts the characters, Solomon himself, the diamond smuggler, Danny Archer (Leonardo Dicaprio), the journalist, Maddy (Jennifer Connely) and Archer's boss, The Colonel (Arnold Vosloo) into a complicated conflict.
This movie certainly offers a lot more than just a good looking Dicaprio, pretty face Connely and strong acting by Honsou. Beside smart-witty scenario, nice chemistry among the characters, and of course not a cliche ending, what more important is that it makes U concern that the gorgeous diamond always dream of apparently had cost many people's life in the process.
